The first two covers I made for Jacques C was digital MP3 covers. I had some thoughs about how meaningless it was to incorperate typography in web-releases like this. Everywhere you will see it (webshops, blogs, iTunes etc.) there will be artistname and title written at the side anyway.

For the MP3-album "Digital Awakening" I made this illustration based cover, in part as a description over Jacques C's music, a mix of disco and Joy Division, in part as something that benefits from it's screen based format. The pattern on the cover will start changing slightly while animated on the web or in iTunes because of the conflict between the picture and screen resolution (the Moiré effect).

For MP3-single "The Wagon" I only used maximized RGB channels, making it stand out among the dull scanned covers in the internet record stores.
